About Myself

My name is Saeed Sehizadeh. I am a lawyer and damn proud of it. I’m proud because I believe in this nation and the principles on which it was founded. To me, the Constitution with its focus on life, liberty and fair process is the greatest human rights document (along with the Declaration of Independence) ever written. I also know that life, liberty and due process of law—the basic foundations of this nation and it freedoms are under constant assault by those who see the right to life, liberty and due process as obstacles to achieving their hidden, self-serving agendas. The idea that our Constitution is under assault is not new at all. This assault began as soon as the ink was dry on this sacred document. Much as soldiers have defended us against foreign enemies, Lawyers since our beginning have been the front line troops defending our freedom and liberty within. This is the reason I first fell in love with American law and why I’ve made it my mission to support lawyers and their clients who fight to preserve people’s rights every day.

As much as I would like to, I am too busy to help every client personally. So I’ve made it my mission to help other lawyers across the nation expand their law practices in order that this system has the greatest army of defenders possible. This I do with pride and with determination. It is my mission to work against those who rail against lawyers, attempt to limit the reach of lawyers and in the process limit the right of those who need legal assistance by trying to demonize lawyers. By helping lawyers, I am helping everyone who has been set upon by interests more powerful than themselves by helping those in need of protection to find the best legal assistance available. I have created this blog for the very reason that lawyers are, have always been and will continue to be what stands between freedom and fairness on the one hand but abuse and totalitarianism on the other.

On this blog I, Saeed Sehizadeh aka David Sheehan, discuss my ongoing efforts to help lawyers throughout the nation to reach more of those little guys who need help. I also expose those who are anti lawyer and expose their subterfuge by demonstrating how such attempts at the demonization of attorneys is harmful to the ultimate workings of a democratic society and put our very freedom at risk. It is not politically correct to talk about it, but there are adversaries in this country and around the world who would pummel the freedom of every day working stiffs to get what they want. Make no mistake, the little guy is in a battle every day against far more powerful forces to keep for himself the fruit of his labor and good citizenship.

There is only one way to combat the forces that desire to silence those they take advantage of—make certain that lawyers can do their work. I am Saeed Sehizadeh and I champion this cause.

I am proud to promote personal injury lawyers

It is gratifying to devote efforts to a cause greater than oneself. It is an unfortunate truth that when you do it well, those who oppose your efforts will not only take notice, but will take aim as well.

I have spent my life helping lawyers and those they seek to protect. Perhaps my greatest accomplishment to date would be starting http://www.napil.com/. Major corporations including insurance companies, drug manufacturers and the US Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with other pro-business proponents of tort reform legislation have systematically engaged in a deliberate and persistent campaign against plaintiffs, their lawyers and consumer protection laws.

Many who bash lawyers don’t understand lawyers’ true role in western societies. Often they only learn about the need for lawyers when they have fallen victim themselves.

I am disappointed to learn that as a result of my efforts to help lawyers, some have chosen to bash my good name, hoping to deter my cause. While I cannot account for their motives, I can only question the curious terms under which they operate their blogs and pity those efforts that truly help no one.

I am proud of http://www.napil.com/ and as the economy deteriorates and many legal entities helping the poorest and weakest among us are destroyed, http://www.napil.com/ will be there to help those who need it. Although I promote http://www.napil.com/ as an entity to help lawyers, ultimately it is a site that helps those aggrieved who lack funds and strength to fight for themselves.

I am Saeed Sehizadeh aka David Sheehan and I am proud to be part of an effort to promote personal injury lawyers – and more especially to preserve the well-being of those they protect.
